The Patriots announced today that they will honor recently retired running back Kevin Faulk during Sunday's game against Buffalo with a special halftime ceremony.

Faulk retired last month, officially closing the book on a 13-year career, all of it spent with New England. He was a second-round pick of the Patriots in 1999 and was named a member of the franchise's 50th anniversary team in 2009.

In a release announcing the Faulk ceremony, the Patriots said Matt Light, who also retired this year, will be honored during a game later this season though there was no specific date give.
