FOXBOROUGH -- The Patriots took Tom Brady off the injury report on Thursday, strengthening the assumption that Brady was given Wednesday off as an extra day of rest.

Brady attempted 65 passes in Sunday's loss to the 49ers, a new career high. He missed his first practice of the season on Wednesday, listed with a right shoulder injury. He was back at practice on Thursday, and participated fully.

The only player missing from practice was linebacker Mike Rivera, who injured an ankle against the 49ers. Brady was the only change to the injury report.
