Daily Training Camp briefing: Friday, July 26

Good morning Patriots fans and welcome to the 2013 NFL season! The Patriots’ training camp officially begins today with the first practice of the season at 9 a.m. at Gillette Stadium. Despite the rain, today's practice will be held outdoors and will be open to the public.

During training camp, you can expect two regular features here on the Extra Points blog: A daily training camp briefing that will be posted first thing in the morning and will both preview the day ahead and recap the previous day; then after practice I will post my daily practice report, summing up everything that happened on the field.

With that, let’s get right to it on Day 1!
