FOXBOROUGH – For the second straight day, receiver Matthew Slater was the only player not spotted at Patriots practice. Slater has missed all week because of a wrist injury, and he'll be ruled out for Sunday's game against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers when the team's injury report comes out on Friday afternoon.

Players were in shorts and shells on a sunny, warm day. The New England Revolution were practicing inside Gillette Stadium, so the Patriots – who had an early-morning walk-through there – utilized the grass fields behind the stadium.
