FOXBOROUGH – For the second straight day, offensive lineman Will Svitek was the only player not spotted at Patriots practice. The shorts and shells workout is being held on the upper grass field (which is wet) at Gillette Stadium, with a chance of rain also in the forecast.

Tight end Rob Gronkowski looked good, catching balls in a passing drill (he caught a touchdown in a short-yardage situation ... but there's no defense), then breaking strong out of a three-point stance, making a move, and catching another short pass.

The post-practice injury report will have anyone who was limited. Yesterday's group included six players – Gronkowski, Danny Amendola, Brandon Bolden, Aaron Dobson, Nate Ebner, and Duron Harmon.
