FOXBOROUGH -- The Patriots have signed linebacker Ja'Gared Davis to the 53-man roster.

Davis, who had been on the practice squad, takes linebacker Brandon Spikes's place on the roster.

The team also officially announced the signing of wide receiver Reggie Dunn to the practice squad. Dunn was a rookie free agent who spent time with the Pittsburgh Steelers, Green Bay Packers, Cleveland Browns, and Miami Dolphins. He played his college football at Utah, where he had five 100-yard kickoff returns for touchdowns, the most in NCAA history. The record for most overall kickoff returns for touchdowns in an NCAA career is seven.
