FOXBOROUGH -- Tom Brady and Danny Aiken did indeed miss practice Wednesday, with illness listed by the Patriots as the reason.

Brady also had a right shoulder injury listed on the injury report, something he's had for a number of weeks. It hasn't forced him to miss any games.

Ten Patriots were limited in practice, including punter Ryan Allen, who was forced out of Saturday's playoff win over the Colts with a shoulder injury. Linebacker Dont'a Hightower was added to the list with an ankle injury, which he presumably suffered against the Colts. Receiver Kenbrell Thompkins sustained a concussion against the Colts, which forced him out; Thompkins was limited in practice Wednesday, as well.

The Patriots did get Aaron Dobson back. The receiver aggravated a foot injury -- which caused him to miss three games -- in the regular-season finale. He hadn't practiced since, and missed Saturday's game.
