With compensatory picks in, Patriots draft selections finalized

The Patriots were awarded a compensatory pick in the fourth round of the 2014 NFL draft Monday. That’ll bring their total draft haul to eight players, with two selections in the fourth and sixth rounds.

Why is this important? Well, outside the fact that Tom Brady was himself a compensatory pick, there isn’t much to draw from the historical selection of these particular draft selections during Bill Belichick’s tenure.

No, instead, what’s important is that all of the Patriots’ draft picks have been allotted. Here are their picks. And for fun we added the team’s compensatory picks since 2000.

Patriots 2014 picks (Round - overall choice selection)
1- 29
2 - 62
3 - 93
4 - 130
4 - 140 (compensatory)
6 - 198 (from Philadelphia)
