The NFL announced workout dates for all 32 teams Thursday.
The Patriots will begin their offseason program on April 21, with organized team practice activities (OTAs) starting on May 27, and a mandatory minicamp for veterans beginning on June 17.
The Patriots OTAs dates are as follows: May 27, May 29-30, June 2-3, June 5, June 9-10, June 12-13, and June 17-19.
The mandatory minicamp will last from June 17 to June 19.
There are three phases to each offseason program. The first part includes strength and conditioning, as well as rehab. That begins April 21. The second portion, which lasts for three weeks, is individual instruction and team drills. However, no live contact is allowed. And the third portion is OTAs, where 7-on-7s and 11-on-11s can occur. But no live contact is allowed either, per the collective bargaining agreement.
The schedule for training camp will be announced at a later date.
There are only 154 days until the NFL opener.
