Patriots quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo, the team's second round pick who officially signed his rookie contract Monday, will receive $1.1 million guaranteed in his four-year deal, according to a report by the Boston Globe's Ben Volin.

Along with the $1.1 million guaranteed, Garoppolo will receive a $853,744 signing bonus as previously reported, and workout bonuses of $50,000 and $75,000 in 2015 and 2016. For 2015, he'll have $250,000 of his salary guaranteed.

Garoppolo is not expected to see a down of any real action until after Tom Brady's career is done. Brady's own contract expires after the 2017 season, when Garoppolo's contract expires as well.
