FOXBOROUGH — The New England Patriots have been without starting right tackle Sebastian Vollmer now for the past two practices.

Several players returned to practice on Monday, and tight end Michael Hoomanawanui was one of them. On Tuesday, however, Hooamanawanui was in pads but was one of several players doing conditioning work on the lower practice field, along with offensive lineman Chris Martin and linebacker Cameron Gordon.

Here is a full list of the players who were not spotted in any capacity:

- RB Tyler Gaffney (meniscus)
- TE D.J. Williams (unknown)
- OT Sebastian Vollmer (unknown)
- DL Chris Jones (unknown)
- DL Sealver Siliga (hand)

If Vollmer cannot play against the Carolina Panthers on Friday, fourth-year offensive lineman Marcus Cannon is a possible candidate to take the snaps at right tackle in his place.
