Let's be honest: Did the Patriots really deserve to win this game? Who cares?
The question is how many more they will be able to win if Gronk's knee injury is serious enough to keep him out - God forbid - for the rest of the season.
These comeback wins are a mixed bag: The Patriots have played lousy in the first half (and even longer than that against the Browns), but their ability to stay calm and march down the field is impressive.
At any rate, all five of our contest leaders picked the Patriots to win, so they stay in first place with records of 12-1. They are:
- George Archie Sr. of Glen Burnie, Md.
- Theodore Gregory of Mansfield
- Tom Hodgdon of White Plains, N.Y.
- Mike Ryan of Capitola, Calif.
- Stephen of Medfield
The number of contestants with 2 losses (a record of 11-2) has been trimmed slightly to 39 people. Another 274 of you are 10-3.
An AFC East contest is up next, with the Patriots traveling to Miami to face the 7-6 Dolphins, winners of two in a row. Close to 80% of you have your money on the Pats.
