Rivers (pictured) has a sprained right medial collateral ligament, and if he plays he won't have full strength in his plant leg. With the potential for heavy winds by kickoff, it could be a game in which added zip is needed and he would be at a disadvantage by not being able to generate the necessary power. The fiery Rivers (21 TDs, 15 INTs in regular season) is particularly effective delivering the ball between the hash marks, and is challenged when forced to throw outside.
