The NFC Championship

  • Previous
The NFC Championship saw the Giants pitted against the Packers in Green Bay, who had soundly defeated New York in the Meadowlands in Week 2. The odds appeared to be against the Giants, but they pulled off an improbable 23-20 overtime victory, in which Lawrence Tynes hit the game-winning field goal after missing two earlier in the game. Now they'll face the heavily favored Patriots in Super Bowl XLII.
