All eyes will be on Brady's mild high right ankle sprain to see if it affects his play. The right foot is important for any righthanded quarterback when dropping back to pass, because it serves to break the drop, with the quarterback pushing off it. It is less of a factor in the shotgun and Brady (pictured) could find himself there most often in the Super Bowl. Brady is coming off a three-interception performance in the AFC Championship game, a performance in which several of his throws were off the mark, and he’s had redemption on his mind. Part of Brady’s excellence is his ability to diagnose rush schemes before the snap and help set the pass protection. He’ll face a big challenge from the pressure-oriented Giants.
