Patriots first-round picks through the years
2005: Logan Mankins
The Patriots won their second consecutive Super Bowl in 2004, which left them with their second consecutive 32d pick in the draft. They beefed up on the offensive line, adding Fresno State guard Logan Mankins, who started every game of every season for the Patriots until the start of 2010, when he held out in a contract dispute and didn't report to the team until November. Despite playing only nine games in 2010, Mankins was voted to the Pro Bowl.
