The receiver had a breakout rookie year, accumulating 1,313 yards on 69 receptions and picking up 17 touchdowns. At the end of the season Moss was named a Pro Bowl starter and NFL Offensive Rookie of the Year. His 17 touchdowns were a rookie record.
