Seemingly a forgotten man in the revamped wide receiver corps, Gaffney came on strong late in the season and supplanted Donte' Stallworth as the Patriots' No. 3 receiver (lining up opposite Moss with Welker often in the slot). Gaffney hauled in 24 of his 36 passes between Weeks 11 and 16, including four of his five touchdowns.
