
In 2000, Brown earned a role as a starting wideout for the first time in his career. He started 15 games, hauling in 83 passes for 944 yards and 4 TDs and was still a threat in the return game (as the Buffalo players in this November 2000 game would testify). The Patriots went 5-11 in the first year of Bill Belichick's tenure.
