Cassel helped keep the Patriots in the postseason chase, leading the team on a game-winning, fourth quarter drive to beat the Seahawks, 24-21. Despite a raucous Seattle crowd, Cassel remained poised, converting three key third downs on the drive and eventually finding Wes Welker for a 2-point conversion after Kevin Faulk's TD run. Cassel finished with 268 yards on 26 of 44 passing.
