Week 3

The Patriots' 38-13 home loss to the Dolphins was a forgettable one for Cassel. He completed 19 of 31 passes for only 131 yards, was sacked three times, fumbled once and was intercepted once. His interception total could have been higher if not for a penalty and a couple of drops by defensive backs. He was replaced by rookie Kevin O'Connell with six minutes left in the game and booed lustily by the Foxborough crowd.
