Boston's worst coaching decisions

Nov. 15, 2009: Patriots vs. Colts

Late in the fourth quarter, Patriots head coach Bill Belichick decided to go for it on fourth-and-2 on their own 28. A first down probably would've sealed the game, but missing it gave Peyton Manning the ball, a short field and plenty of time to find Reggie Wayne for the game-winning touchdown. Belichick's decision not to punt will be criticized throughout the rest of the season, and very likely much longer.

Belichick's call has already been ranked among the worst coaching decision in Boston sports history. Scroll through the gallery to see other memorable mistakes, and then decide which one was the worst at the end of the gallery.
