1. Ryan Fitzpatrick is taking advantage of chance
Fans who saw Fitzpatrick play at Harvard were always aware of his strong arm and mobility, but his occasional struggles with accuracy left him pigeonholed as primarily a backup. But he made a career-high 13 starts for the Bills last year, throwing for 3,000 yards and 23 touchdowns, and he entered this season, his seventh in the league, as a starter for the first time. He's been terrific so far, completing 63.4 percent of his passes for seven touchdowns and just one interception.
