Best individual performance: Tom Brady's 517-yard game vs. Miami. Any true Patriots fan can rattle off a list of classic performances by Brady without much prompting. There certainly are enough to choose from. But the reigning NFL Most Valuable Player has rarely been better than he was in the season opener against the Dolphins, when he threw for 517 yards – the fifth-highest single-game total in NFL history – and four touchdowns, including a 99-yard strike to Wes Welker.
