Scouting the Patriots in 2011

Brady became the first player to unanimously win the NFL Most Valuable Player award last year, and still shows the passion and drive that have propelled him throughout his career. And like last year, he has myriad options in the passing game. Though the Patriots spent a third-round pick on Mallett, the rookie showed during the preseason that Hoyer doesn't have to worry about losing his job to the young gun just yet. Hoyer himself seems more than capable if he had to sub for Brady for a game or two, and appears comfortable leading the offense.
