The Patriots wrapped up their three-day minicamp on Thursday, although coach Bill Belichick canceled the actual practice session. Several players discussed the team's outlook, including linebacker Bobby Carpenter, who was signed as a free agent in April.

"We have a great team atmosphere. I was very pleased with how great the locker room was. We've got a tremendous group of players here. Not only that, they're great people, so it's been easy to get acclimated," he said.
