Signs, signs, everywhere signs

You've seen them at every sporting event you've ever been to. They've blocked your view and they've gotten the guy three rows back on TV. Well we asked you to come up with one of your own, a clever sign you'd like to hold up, or maybe will be holding up at the Super Bowl.

Before we crown the winner, here are a few of the better ones submitted.

A few of you submitted various versions of a one of our Catch phrase finalists with "Nothing Could Be Finer...Than A Win Vs Carolina." Not bad. But what about something clever like "Patriots=Curiosity" as submitted by Gregg from Manchester, NH.

Juan from Somerville has his magic markers out and is preparing "Uh oh, better block Klecko!" Picking up a tip from the 2004 presidential race, Gary from Stoughton nominates "Brady-Belichick for President / Bruschi - Secretary of Defense.

The Super Bowl is in Texas, so why not "Remember the Alamo / Dismember Delhomme," submitted by Brian in Philadelphia. Another geographically centered idea was from Chris in Washington, D.C. with, "Carolina: First in Flight, Second in Super Bowl. Make a license plate out of that one.

We've heard it all about the Pats in the past two weeks. They get no respect yet Andy in Detroit would call them a "D-Nasty." We also liked "Got Snow?" from Ren in Saugus and Michael from Milton's "No Pets Allowed."

There was the poetic from Ed in Easthampton who would scribble, "We got through Mcnair / We got through Manning / Delhomme is neither / A parade is in planning." And the altered motto "In Belichick We Trust," from Matt in Newmarket, NH.

We got a chuckle out of "Jakey and the Pussycats," from Doug in Marshfield, as well as the variations that a few of you submitted on, "Where's Sapp?"

As first we thought it was a commercial but then realized it was just a painful reminder that Jared in Northampton submitted, "The New England Patriots: The #1 prescribed painkiller for Red Sox fans everywhere."

P from Framingham is playing the part of Carolina with his runner-up entry of, "Major Tom Controls Ground."

Today's winner, Lynette from Arlington cracked us up with her winning entry. With a mental picture of what she is describing, imagine seeing this on TV, or across the stadium, "A picture of a stomach + a baby chic - 'Belly Chick'." Nice work, and thank you to everyone who participated.
