The Radisson Seven Seas Navigator was the first and most prestigious member of the fleet of cruise ships to arrive in downtown Jacksonville. The city had to enlist five cruise ships to make up for its lack of luxury hotel rooms. Without the cruise ships, Jacksonville was 3,667 rooms short of the 17,500 rooms required by the NFL to host a Super Bowl.
