Is it really possible Tedy Bruschi is heading to his first Pro Bowl? All he’s done during his unheralded career is make tackle after tackle (128 this season) while expertly orchestrating the Patriots’ complex coverages. Bruschi was a two-time AFC Defensive Player of the Week, but seemed to influence games on a weekly basis. Not surprisingly, he was at his finest in the playoffs with a forced fumble and two fumble recoveries against the Colts and a sack and interception in the Super Bowl.
