Kevin Faulk is an excellent complementary back to Corey Dillon. While Dillon’s a pounder, Faulk’s a slasher. He carried 54 times for 255 yards during the season, and chipped in 38 more in the Super Bowl. He’s one of the best screen players in the league and caught 26 passes for 248 yards this year. The ultimate team player, Faulk gladly stepped aside for Dillon. ‘‘I’m so happy for Corey. I love the guy,’’ Faulk said after the Super Bowl. ‘‘It’s probably sweetest for him.’’
