Injury Report

The following is the Patriots’ injury report for Wednesday:

Offensive tackle Matt Light (ankle) -- out
Running back Kevin Faulk (foot) -- out
Cornerback Tyrone Poole (ankle) -- doubtful
Receiver Troy Brown (foot) –- questionable
Running back Corey Dillon (ankle) –- questionable
Cornerback Randall Gay (ankle) –- questionable
Defensive lineman Jarvis Green (shoulder) –- questionable
Defensive lineman Marquise Hill (ankle) –- questionable
Linebacker/special teams ace Larry Izzo (thigh) –- questionable
Outside linebacker Willie McGinest (finger) –- questionable
Safety James Sanders (ankle) –- questionable
Defensive lineman Richard Seymour (knee) –- questionable
Cornerback Duane Starks (thigh) -- questionable
Quarterback Tom Brady (right shoulder) -- probable

On the team’s last injury report, submitted Friday, Oct. 14, there were 18 players listed -- 2 as out, 15 as questionable, and 1 as probable.

The numbers have improved slightly. The current report has 14 players listed – 2 as out, 1 as doubtful, 10 as questionable and 1 as probable. Cornerback Tyrone Poole was one downgraded player –- going from questionable (50-50) to doubtful (at least a 75 percent chance of not playing).

Players removed from the previous injury report include outside linebackers Tully Banta-Cain and Matt Chatham, inside linebacker Monty Beisel and safety Guss Scott (injured reserve).

QUICK HITS: Receiver Jason Anderson, who spent some time with the Patriots in the preseason, was signed to the Vikings’ practice squad. … Former Patriots quarterback Rohan Davey worked out with the Bills yesterday.
