LAW FOLLOW: For a bit more on the situation regarding free-agent cornerback Ty Law, this nfl.com story states that the suitors appear to be narrowed to the Cardinals, Chiefs and Patriots. The story indicated agent Carl Poston hopes to have the process wrapped up in 7-10 days.
SULLIVAN THROUGH 2007: According to NFL Players Association documents, the contract of newly acquired defensive lineman Johnathan Sullivan has two voidable years in 2008 and 2009. Sullivan had signed a seven-year deal in 2003, but if he appeared in 35 percent of the defensive snaps in 2003 or 45 percent in any year after that, the '08 and '09 seasons would void. Because Sullivan appeared in 46 percent of the snaps in his rookie year, his contract now expires after the 2007 season.
