Some links from the newspapers that cover the Patriots' opponent on Sunday, the Buffalo Bills:
* The Rochester Democrat & Chronicle writes on first-year Bills defensive coordinator Perry Fewell. Under Fewell, the Bills are playing an up-tempo defense with a lot of pressure, which is modeled after Fewell's time with Bears coach Lovie Smith.
* The Democrat & Chronicle also notes that Tom Brady is 9-1 against Buffalo over his career. In pointing out that stat, the newspaper notes that defensive end Aaron Schobel -- one of the more underrated pass rushers in the NFL -- has never missed a game since entering the NFL in 2001.
* The Buffalo News reports that the Bills are relishing their role as the biggest underdogs on the NFL's opening weekend. "It's a good thing that people aren't going to worry about us," said running back Willis McGahee. "We're the underdog, we're at the bottom, not going to do nothing."
* The Bills have struggled to piece together a consistent offensive line the last two years, but the same group has been together since the start of training camp, the Buffalo News reports. That group is left tackle Mike Gandy, left guard Tutan Reyes, center Melvin Fowler, right guard Chris Villarrial and right tackle Jason Peters.
