Who fills in?

With cornerback Ellis Hobbs, safety Eugene Wilson and offensive tackle Ryan O'Callaghan out for Sunday's game, who fills the voids?

At cornerback, the likely candidate to start alongside Asante Samuel is 10-year veteran Chad Scott. The Patriots also have Hank Poteat at cornerback.

At safety, the probable scenario is that nine-year veteran Artrell Hawkins steps in next to Rodney Harrison. The team also has second-year player James Sanders and rookie Willie Andrews at safety.

Entering a game with just seven defensive backs is a bit dangerous, and the Patriots also take a hit in the kicking game from losing Hobbs and Wilson, so the team might be inclined to promote cornerback Antwain Spann from the practice squad.

At right tackle, the choice will likely be second-year player Nick Kaczur. First-year player Wesley Britt is another option.
