Lions links

A few links from Detroit:

* Even though he's eligible to return from a four-game suspension, DT Shaun Rogers likely won't play against the Patriots, the Detroit Free Press reports.

* The Detroit News takes a look at Patriots QB Tom Brady, who notes that he still has some chips on his shoulder. Brady also repeated a point he told New England reporters -- that coach Bill Belichick was tough on the Patriots on Wednesday, with "one of the toughest speeches we ever had."

* In this Detroit Free Press piece, Colts coach Tony Dungy discusses the similarities between the Lions' rebuilding job and the one he had in Tampa Bay in 1996. When Dungy was hired in Tampa Bay, he brought in Rod Marinelli -- now the Lions head coach -- as his defensive line coach.
