Welcome to Gillette

FOXBOROUGH -- Welcome to Gillette Stadium, where the Patriots (7-3) host the Bears (9-1) today at 4:15 p.m. ET.

The scope of the game is reflected in the large number of reporters scheduled to be in attendance from national print media outlets. The list includes CBS Sportsline, ESPN the Magazine, ESPN.com, Los Angeles Times, NBCSports.com, New York Daily News, New York Post, New York Times, Sports Illustrated, SI.com, USA Today and the Washington Post.

Advance scouts from the Lions, Vikings and Rams have been granted credentials for the game. The Patriots host the Lions next weekend, while the Bears host the Vikings.

Walt Coleman is scheduled to be the referee for today's game. Coleman's crew has called an average of 9.4 assessed penalties per game, the second lowest figure in the NFL behind Peter Morelli (8.7). The league average is 12.2 assessed penalties per game.

Coleman's crew has also had 15 challenges, with five reservals. The 33 percent reversal rate is slightly higher than the league average of 32 percent.

We'll have more updates throughout the day.
