Jaguars' links
A few links from the Jaguars' perspective leading into Sunday's game:
* The Florida Times-Union examines the matchup between the Jaguars' running game (2nd in the NFL) and the Patriots' run defense (4th in the NFL).
* Defensive end Bobby McCray asks a Jacksonville-based newspaper reporter to write an article on the importance of crowd noise. "Do an article on the crowd so the crowd will be loud when [Patriots quarterback] Tom Brady makes his checks," McCray says.
* With RB Fred Taylor (hamstring) questionable, the Florida Times-Union writes on LaBrandon Toefield, who would presumably see more playing time.
* Also in the Times-Union, QB David Garrard says it didn't take him long to forget his last performance, which included three turnovers returned for touchdowns in a loss to the Titans.
* CB Rashean Mathis touches on being selected to the Pro Bowl in this Times-Union piece, as well as his journey to the NFL from Division 1-AA Bethune-Cookman.
