Kight follow-up

By Mike Reiss, Globe Staff April 19, 07 10:59 AM

WR Kelvin Kight's contract with the Patriots, which was announced by the team on Tuesday, is a one-year deal worth $435,000. This is the standard contract for a player with Kight's experience, as it represents the minimum salary for a second-year player. There is no signing bonus in the deal.

THOMAS IN FOCUS: Linebacker Adalius Thomas is featured in this Boston Globe piece by Christopher L. Gasper. The scene for the story is set in Nixburg, Ala., which is Thomas's hometown.
