More on Brown

Some quick hits on Kareem Brown, the Patriots' fourth-round selection (127th overall):

  • 6-foot-4

  • 290 pounds

  • Redshirted in 2002 before suiting up from 2003-2006, playing in 48 games. Became a full-time starter in 2006.

  • Totaled 20.5 sacks in his career, the second highest total for defensive tackles in Miami's history.

  • Is considered more of a pass rusher than a run-plugger.

  • The Patriots worked him out privately March 13, alongside first-round draft choice Brandon Meriweather on the University of Miami campus.
