Marshall plan

The Herald-Dispatch takes a closer look at Marshall University players in the NFL, and notes that the Patriots' acquisition of Randy Moss potentially gives the Patriots two Marshall alums -- Moss and Troy Brown.

At this time, Brown remains a free agent as he recovers from offseason knee surgery. Patriots coach Bill Belichick previously said Brown will have a role on the team in 2007.

"I'm planning on giving it another run-around," Brown told the Herald-Dispatch. "You never know what's going to happen. Some of it's in my court, and some of it's in their court."
