Faulk & Alexander

Patriots running back Kevin Faulk and linebacker Eric Alexander returned to their native Louisiana this weekend. Both were part of a football camp for area youth.

The camp is run by Faulk and his cousin, Trev Faulk.

"I think it's just good for the kids to see that if you work hard and have a positive attitude, good things can happen for you," Faulk told The Daily Advertiser newspaper. "We didn't have this kind of opportunity growing up, so when I had the chance to do this, I jumped on it."

Said Alexander: "Some of them just need a little guidance. You need to start [learning that] at an early age before it gets too late."
