Pats & Gaither
We're continuing to keep an eye on the NFL supplemental draft, which is scheduled for Thursday. Along those lines, Maryland offensive tackle Jared Gaither worked out for scouts today (ESPN.com story).
According to Kevin Pompey, Gaither's agent, "to my knowledge the Patriots did not have a representative at the workout."
We have some thoughts on the supplemental draft -- as do some fans -- in the latest Patriots mailbag on Boston.com. Gaither is one of 10 prospects eligible be drafted on Thursday, and he's considered one of the best players of the group.
