Sunday plan

The Patriots are scheduled to hold two training camp practices today. The schedule:

8:45-10:45 a.m. -- Morning practice
5:30-7:30 p.m. -- Afternoon practice

Bill Belichick will hold a press conference at 11:15 a.m.

We'll plan on posting some updates along the way. Meanwhile, here are a few of the Patriots stories from Sunday's Boston Globe:

  • Bill Parcells shares his coaching perspective when it comes to managing expectations, as Dan Shaughnessy writes.

  • Entering his third season in the NFL, cornerback Ellis Hobbs has reached a critical point, Christopher L. Gasper writes.

  • The Patriots Notebook leads off with rookie Brandon Meriweather lining up at cornerback during parts of Saturday's practice.

  • Bill Belichick doesn't talk about his contract, but after Saturday's workout he seemed to indicate that 2007 is not his last season.
