Baker's case

As we wait for the final list of Patriots cuts, one player on the mind is safety Rashad Baker.

The fourth-year veteran was considered to be on the bubble, but Rodney Harrison's suspension might have helped his cause. His agent, Troy Archie, said he has not heard anything from the Patriots at this point.

"No news is good news on September 1st," he said.

Baker is recovering from a broken hand. He is expected back in about two weeks.

It will be interesting to see if Baker has made the roster.
