Pats chatter
Comments from the Patriots' locker room:
WR Wes Welker
(on his lateral to Randy Moss)
"That is something I'm probably going to get yelled at tomorrow [about]. I don't know. It just kind of happened. It's one of those plays where he was there, I felt like it was safe, a possibility to score, so -- unfortunately, Randy wasn't able to finish for me [laughter]. I'm thinking 'he's going to finish', you know?"
LB Tedy Bruschi
(on Randy Moss' touchdown catch)
"It's fun to watch. When we saw it on the Jumbotron we just looked at each other and shook our heads. He has shown us a few of those this year and when you watch the replay again, it just amazes you."
RB Sammy Morris
(on the Patriots' offense through three games)
"I think we have had three different styles of game. The first game, we came out with a traditional offense and drove the ball down the field. In the second game we had more of a two-minute mode offense, and this one we had a little more diversity. It was refreshing to see."
LT Matt Light
(on the production of the offensive line)
"Up front, we've got a lot of experience and we're playing pretty well. I think we're doing a pretty good job of finishing. The line is working well together and obviously out running backs were on track today."
