Brady ties mark

By Mike Reiss, Globe Staff

QB Tom Brady fired his third touchdown pass today when he found Benjamin Watson for a 25-yard score in the fourth quarter.

That ties an NFL record for throwing three or more touchdown passes in five consecutive games to begin a season. Brady joins Steve Young, who had three or more touchdowns in the first five games of the 1998 season.
