Will someone please explain to me how a right-handed QB with an injured right shoulder throws 6 TD's in a game and is awarded AFC Player of the Week for the third time in his "injury-plagued" season? Does Belichick think all Pats fans are totally clueless?

It's not a reflection of how Belichick thinks of the fans. It has nothing to do with us.

He clearly hates the leagues rules regarding injury reporting. And it's consistent with his other habits about any information about the team becoming public. Consider he's not overly fond of having to speak to the media in the first place. He closes practices as much as possible. He dislikes having to reveal injuries and allowing the other team to prepare differently. So he reports anyone with even a hint of injury. It's a physical sport and I'm sure they get banged up - so Coach gets to rest them and show what he thinks about the injury rules.

As for Brady, yes it's laughable to think he's not going to be playing and doing so at a very high level. Obvious he will, but at the same time, he is limited in practice due to a physical ailment (soreness). Belichick reports that. It's truthful .... Brady limited in practice (shoulder) Probable to play Sunday.

Just ignore it. It's no different from Coach saying insightful things like "obviously there are some things we did well and some we need to improve on" or "it is what it is"

I'm curious about Seymour's participation in practice. Do the Patriots not have to report on him because he's not technically on the roster at the moment?
