Mitchell shaken up

By Mike Reiss, Globe Staff

Patriots safety Mel Mitchell, one of the Patriots' key special teams performers, was shaken up on a Josh Cribbs kickoff return at the end of the second quarter. He remained on the ground, and was tended to by the medical staff

Mitchell has stayed on the sideline and appears to be OK.

Meanwhile, Adalius Thomas has not returned to action.
