(4)For some reason, I'm struggling to recall all 4 of the Pats' turnovers this year. I know Brady has 2 picks, and I'm pretty sure he fumbled on the 1 yard line on an attempted QB sneak earlier in the year. I remember Ellis Hobbs fumbling a kickoff, but I'm thinking the Pats recovered that one...?
WOW!! I think the Patriots really have a chance of going undefeated thise season, I found a site that allows you to bet on it and I filled my boots at wagerweb.com, Go Pats!!!!!!
I'd like to see where the Pats are in red zone defense in terms of number of possesions to other teams in the league. Yes, they rank last in percentage, but how many times has an opponent gotten to the red zone? My guess is that they rank very high in that catagory.
Biggest concern I have is 3rd down offense. Too many times the offense, particularly Brady, have been put into difficult situations by poor performance on first down. Usually, what has happened is that opposing defenses have held the advantage when the team doesn't convert on first downs which eventually set up third down calls that are doomed from the beginning. I think the team needs to get more aggressive on first down, especially withthe talent this team has available.
