1st half analysis
ORCHARD PARK, N.Y. -- Some quick analysis from the first half of tonight's game, with the Patriots leading 35-7:
Randy Moss. Randy Moss. Randy Moss. Randy Moss. What else can be said? Offensively, the Patriots scored on all five of their first-half possesions. Moss has four of them, and RB Laurence Maroney added his first score of the season.
Defensively, the tone was set early when Randall Gay intercepted J.P. Losman on the Bills' opening drive. The crowd at Ralph Wilson Stadium had been charged up and that quieted them. The Patriots are playing mostly a 4-3 defense, but have also shown some 3-4 looks, making them a "multiple" unit tonight.
An injury to RB Kevin Faulk (head) and CB Ellis Hobbs beaten on a long pass play for a touchdown were low points for the team in the first half. Moss and Donte' Stallworth also had dropped passes.
But all in all, when you come into an opposing stadium and lead 35-7 at the half -- and get the ball to open the second half -- what can really be said? The Patriots are once again showing they are a special team, and Moss -- in particular -- is proving he's a special player.

Have we finally reached the conclusion to the Brady vs. Manning debate? Brady with no top receivers won 3 rings. Manning with the top receivers never looked like this. This is near humiliation of the opposition. The Pats could be the best offensive product put on a football field.
Is it possible that the saying "you got mossed" can apply to entire defense? I'm sure all the dbacks for the bills will be victims on yougotmossed.com.
Hobbs should have purposely fumbled the ball through the end zone, rather than running back that freaky fumble recovery. And Adalius shouldn't have slapped down all those Losman pass attempts.
Oh, yeah: Brady should have been benched after the first quarter. The Patriots really are cheaters.
